I’m writing this article in English because many people ask me from dpreview community Here I want to share my comparison experience between my old lense EF-S 18-55 and my new one: EF-S 18-55IS. I wrote in my previous article thath the new stabilized len from Canon is better than its predecessor (incredibly better in my opinion). The sharpness is better, less purple fringing and a great IS system.
For this reason I want to show you many shots (also available in RAW format! to download) I shooted today with my eos 400d and my tripod. Firstly two little 100% crop:
